Crafty Chew...

Who doens't love food? Who doesn't love crafts? So we combineded our weekly Chat and Chew with our weekly Craft and ended up with a Crafty Chew. We had a fun time. I am sure glad that the girls were there to help. We had a really fun time. As you can tell by the pictures.

Monday Morning Sit and Fit

Our numbers are growing for our Sit and Fit exercise program. Andrea leads the group in 'range of motion' exercises, and I will jump in with a Witty remark every now and then. Its no wonder that Joy refers to me as "that loud guy who is always talking in the kitchen". Everyone has fun.

Jack Downs...

Jack Downs passed away October 1st. Our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.

Hollyhock Update...

Our little hollyhock didn't do so well in our storm this weekend. The winds blew it over. It was fun to watch it grow.

Church in your Pajamas...

Well, we don't actually go to church in our pajamas, but we can sleep in and watch Conference on the Big Screen. Its a pretty quite day on Conference weekend, as most of them stay in there room and nap ... I mean listen to conference.

The ladies like to have Relief Society every Thursday Morning. Its neat to see the residents get involved in the discussions and participate in the branch.

Sit and Fit October 1

Andrea and the ladies turn out for Sit and Fit.

Chat and Chew...

We had our Chat and Chew today. I like to rearrange the tables. Some of them get so worried that they are sitting in someone elses seat.

We started off discussing NASA's 50 year anniversary. That discussion wasn't going anywhere. So we started talking about life before the car, TV, Color TV, and computers.

Lenore said she remembered her first movie with sound, and then told of the time she went to the movie and some guy let out a yelp and killed over dead. She said that they wouldn't do anything with him until after the show was over. The wife was carrying on and ruined the rest of the show for everyone.

Oleve told us she used to play the piano for the silent movies in Lehi when she was young.

It turned out pretty good, even though I burnt the cookies.

Tuesday September 30

We had our Out to Lunch Bunch. We went to Sizzler for Steak -Seafood -Salad - Sizzler. A few of the ladies went to the Bountiful Temple with the Relief Society.

The ladies have also had a fun time watching the Hollyhock grow in the front of the building.

Sunday...

Sunday's are good days to come in and visit. We see a lot of family members stop by. The residents really look forward to the visits.

Fun Drive Friday...

We went for a little drive on Friday. We drove to Farmington, got on the NEW Legacy Highway, drove to Salt Lake, got a milk shake, and drove back home. We really had a good time.
