Bessie gets a visit

Bessie's granddaughter stopped in for a little visit. We like Sarah, but who does it look like she is visiting with?

Here are a few BINGO pictures. I often wonder if I would remember how to spell BINGO if it wasn't for the song. The Ladies love a good game of BINGO thats for sure.

Monday...

It was nice to have Heinz grand kids come in and play the piano for the residents at lunch. We had Fried Chicken, Cucumber Salad, Potatoes, and biscuits for lunch. For desert, we had Ice cream with fresh Strawberries. Oleve ordered a very small serving, but didn't find it nearly as funny as the rest of us when we took her the largest plate we could find and placed a quarter sized scoop of ice cream with one slice of strawberry. Lucky for her we are an all you can eat establishment.

I hope nobody finds out that I put a little TLC in the cooking when no one is looking. And in case anyone has noticed the food is a little sweeter since Rene left, its because I accidentally touched it.

We are glad that Bessie's Grand Daughter stopped in to see her. We had a good chuckle.

Today we spent the time getting together and frost cookies. Cookies are one of our favorite food groups.

We want to wish Oleve a Happy 95th Birthday. He family brought in a Birthday Cake so all could enjoy. We really had a good time. OK we admit it, we love anything with food.

Sit and Fit with Andrea

Andrea and some of the residents are warming up for their morning work out. The residents really look forward to sit and fit to work out some of their aches and pains. We always have a few laughs while stretching.

Crafty Chew...

Who doens't love food? Who doesn't love crafts? So we combineded our weekly Chat and Chew with our weekly Craft and ended up with a Crafty Chew. We had a fun time. I am sure glad that the girls were there to help. We had a really fun time. As you can tell by the pictures.

Monday Morning Sit and Fit

Our numbers are growing for our Sit and Fit exercise program. Andrea leads the group in 'range of motion' exercises, and I will jump in with a Witty remark every now and then. Its no wonder that Joy refers to me as "that loud guy who is always talking in the kitchen". Everyone has fun.
